PDF and TIFF softproof Processing

SpectraProof can work with PDF (Portable Document Format) files for softproofing and displaying digital content.

SpectraProof processes print-ready PDF files such as PDF-X data with separations or composite TIFF images. PDFs are interpreted by a RIP and saved as a separation. The softproof calculation in SpectraProof is then based on these separations for the calculation and composing.

Text, images, colors, fonts, and layout are displayed as they would appear in the final printed or published document. Users can zoom in and out, pan, and navigate through the PDF document for detailed inspection.
